Why every social post needs a capture point

Likes are not leads. A landing page and a form behind every post turn social activity into a pipeline you can count.

Most owner-led businesses post on social media the way they water a plant they are not sure is alive: when they remember, and without checking whether anything grows.

The fix is not more posts. It is giving every post somewhere to go.

The rule

Every post with an offer points to one page. That page has one form. That form posts into your CRM, tags the lead with the campaign it came from, and starts a follow-up sequence the same minute.

That is the whole system. Three parts:

  1. A landing page per campaign. Not the home page. One page, one promise, one form.
  2. A form that feeds the CRM. With the source and campaign attached, so you know which post produced the lead.
  3. A follow-up that runs without you. A text in the first two minutes, an email the same day, a reminder two days later.

What changes

You stop asking “is social working?” and start reading a number every Friday: posts published, clicks to the page, forms submitted, calls booked.

If the number is zero, you know which part to fix: the post, the page, or the follow-up. Without the capture point you only know that you posted.

Where to start

Pick the one offer you most want people to take this month. Give it a page. Put the link in every post, every bio and every email signature. Count the forms.

That is the first week of the Growth Engine program, and it is the part most businesses skip.
